Video: Jesper the skijoring cat

Named "the sportiest cat in the world," by Eurosport News, Jesper the cat from Hedmark, Norway, is going viral. Jesper, who goes adventuring with his owner Aina Stormo, can be seen skijoring, swimming and hiking in videos posted online.

Stormo told the site Adventurecats that when they go skijoring Jesper mostly wants to walk in the Nordic ski track. "That's easier for him, but difficult for me. But he is so little so I do what's the best for him, and I must be careful so I do not run over the cat with my skis. He can't run so fast downhill, so he sits in the backpack or on my shoulder," said Stormo.

Stormo says Jesper's thick fur keeps him warm in the snow but if he gets wet or tired she has a backpack and wool blanket on hand to keep him warm and rested.

Stormo uses a Puppia harness and Jesper carries a small backpack to bring his own snacks on trips. Jesper has a Facebook page, with over 10,000 followers, where you can follow his outdoor adventures in Norway.
