In Anchorage, spreading a positive message at schools before classes kick off

Teachers and community members wrote inspirational messages and words of encouragement in chalk outside the fronts of 12 Anchorage schools on Friday. The United Way of Anchorage organized the annual Chalk the Walks event. The first day of school in the Anchorage School District is Monday.
