A young bull moose bends a thin tree repeatedly near Goose Lake in Anchorage on January 13, 2022. The moose spent several minutes circling the tree, sometimes stripping its bark, but mostly rubbing its antlers on it. The tree eventually gave way and fell to the ground, at which point the bull moved on to a small cardboard sign asking park users to scoop poop nearby, which it also knocked over. (Marc Lester / ADN)
