Noel Wien, the founder of one of the country's first airlines and the first man to fly nonstop from Anchorage to Fairbanks, was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in mid-July. Here are some more historic photos of Wien and early Alaska aviation, and you can read more about him here.
