Letter: The postal service

Can you imagine our state without the mail? We have a unique relationship with the U.S. Postal Service! Thousands of us still live in the Bush. We rely on the mail. Everything from seeds to plant in the spring to material for clothes to ropes. This relationship is very longstanding. Now our way of life is being jeopardized due to politics.

We Alaskans are very informed and involved with our country. Yet our very way of life is being held hostage due to the postal service and what President Donald Trump wants.

So many of us not only buy our seeds to plant in the spring but vote by mail also. I am not going to give up my postal service to anyone trying to hold me hostage to get my vote!
