Sophomore Leah Wilson parlayed a pair of high all-around scores into Gymnast of the Week honors in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
Wilson, of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, posted a score of 38.825 in a Friday meet with the University of Kentucky and followed up with a 38.975 in Sunday's meet. The Sunday score was the second highest in school history, coming just .15 short of tying the school record.
The award is the second of the season for Wilson, who returns to action with her teammates this Friday at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships in Colorado Springs, Colo.
