Stellar weekend tournament performances earned UAA basketball players Taylor Rohde and Hanna Johansson honors at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference players of the week. Rohde, a 6-9 junior transfer from Arizona State, earned all-tournament honors at Disney's Division II Tip-Off Classic in Anaheim, Calif., averaging 15.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in UAA's three games. The Phoenix native connected on 14 of 24 shots and 17 of 22 free throws, scoring 12 points in UAA's 67-52 victory Sunday over tournament champion UC San Diego.
Johansson, a 6-2 junior center, averaged 13.7 points and 9.0 rebounds to earn all-tournament honors and lead the Seawolves to a 2-1 record and the tournament title.
