Alaska's Class 4A basketball players of the year -- West's Devon Bookert and Dimond's Keiahnna Engel -- headline a list of seniors selected to play in the Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches senior all-star game Saturday at Colony High.
The girls game starts at 5 p.m. and the boys play at 7 p.m. Top players from 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A will be featured.
The games will feature all but one of the eight players who earned Player of the Year honors earlier this season in voting by the coaches association and Alaska Newspapers.
Joining Engel in the girls game will be the Class 3A and 2A players of the year -- Nicole Smith of 3A Barrow and Jesse Ellis of 2A Skagway.
The other top boys on the roster are the 3A player of the year, Nome's Christian Leckband; the 2A player of the year, Point Hope's Adam Sage, and the 1A player of the year, Elim's Oscar Takak.
