Police, FBI again ask public for help in Koenig disappearance

The FBI and Anchorage police made a new pitch Sunday for anyone who may have information about missing barista Samantha Koenig to come forward.

Police call Anchorage construction company owner Israel Keyes a person of interest in the apparent abduction of Koenig, who vanished the evening of Feb. 1. He's in federal custody of a charge of access device fraud for, according to authorities, making cash withdrawals with a stolen Alaska debit card. Police and the FBI haven't said whose debit card he was using or how they believe he was involved in her disappearance from the midtown coffee stand where she was working alone.

Keyes owned Keyes Construction in Anchorage, and used a white full-size extended cab Chevy truck.

The FBI asks anyone with information about Koenig's disappearance, Keyes, or his Chevy truck to call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
