Anderson, Nelson lead Eagleglen Open

Anchorage golf professionals Bryan Anderson and Rob Nelson each opened the Eagleglen Open with a 4-under 68 on Saturday to share the lead in the 36-hole tournament.

Casey Cusack sits one shot back after a 69, and Billy Bomar is alone in fourth place after a 70.

David Hamilton fired a 1-under 71 to take a one-stroke lead over State Amateur champion Greg Sanders in the top men's amateur flight, and Allegra Butler leads the amateur women by 12 shots after a 77.

Final round play begins at 8 a.m., Sunday.
