I see several states are now proposing legislation requiring law-abiding, legal gun owners to purchase liability insurance. Me being born at night, as well as a product of our failed public education system, I just don't get it.
So the next time some deranged video gamer daydreams about how much fun it would be to kill a bunch of folks they do not know, then uses his/her parents' guns to kill them, then runs to the local grade school/theater killing countless innocent kids and adults, at least we will feel better knowing the survivors of the victims will be in line for a big paycheck from the insurance companies.
Rather than debate the issue, identify those things that have worked/not worked in the past and find workable solutions.
The first act by our professional politicians is to find a way to make money on this senseless violence.
Good golly, Ms. Molly, what have we become?
