Four Alaskans cash in at World Series of Poker

Four more Alaskans have cashed in events at the 44th annual World Series of Poker, making it 18 Alaskans who have cashed this year in the Las Vegas event that is the most prestigious and lucrative in the game.

Sean Barrios of Anchorage finished 28th in a field of 343 players competing in a Limit Hold 'em/Six Handed game and earned $5,579. The event required a $2,500 entry fee.

Three Alaskans earned money in the Ladies No-Limit Hold 'em Championship, which cost $1,000 to enter. Koy Saelee of Anchorage finished 82nd among 954 players and won $1,923. Kima Kimura of Anchorage took 103rd to win $1,631 and Lori Townsend of Anchorage finished 104th and also won $1,631.
