The political climate of this country has boiled down to just two philosophies; liberal and anti-liberal. The tea party is composed of the anti-liberals. The Democrats, independents and one-half of the Republicans are identified as liberals by the partiers. Anti-liberals are against just about everything the government does or plans to do. To name a few: Obama himself, Obamacare, taxes, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, gay rights, gun control, vaccinations, immigration reform, legal abortion, birth control, separation of church and state and probably fluoridation of the water (to protect their precious bodily fluids?).
Those of us who are not radical anti-liberals should band together and look for positive solutions. Bipartisanship? What a novel idea!
