Thank you to Mike Dingman (Column, Nov. 20) for spelling out the costs of the lavish new LIO remodel. It is absolutely disgusting to hear of the costs and the insane rent that will be paid after completion. How can the Legislature deny $24 million to education when they'll have spent that amount in just seven years at their new rental rate?
Mr. Hawker might just be watching his colleagues in those glass elevators from the sidewalks with the rest of us ordinary citizenry after the next election cycle.
