South African actress Nava Sarracino will play 24 different roles in a play commemorating the 20th anniversary of the first free election in South Africa, when Nelson Mandela was elected president. Brown Bag Film Series: 'Tyonek Potlatch'

The most elaborate Dena'ina potlatches (qetitl') were memorial feasts for the dead that attracted guests from many other villages. World Hypnotism Day in Anchorage

Hypnosis is defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as "a trancelike state that resembles sleep but is induced by a person whose suggestions are readily accepted by the subject."
