Letter: Setnetters are a threat to kings

The Kenai kings run close to the beach. Eliminate the setnetters for good! When I was younger I worked in the Kenai packing houses and they were the ones catching them and still are. The king salmon will be destroyed if the setnetters are allowed to continue.

The pollock fishery is not helping either. Let's do something before it's too late, people. Business as usual for the commercial fisherman until they are gone, then they will find another species to wipe out.

As you consider many proposals, remember — long live the kings!
