Chugiak-Eagle River 2, Dimond-West 1
Kirsten Watt scored the game-winning goal midway through the second period Thursday to lift Chugiak-Eagle River to a 2-1 victory over Dimond-West at Dempsey Anderson Arena. The Chugiak High sophomore wristed a shot from the slot, converting a pass from Jade Pandres.
Pandres, a freshman at Eagle River, gave the winners a 1-0 lead with a first-period goal.
