Liar's Club

Kincaid Cardboard Sled Derby
Children, teens, adults and families will come together to observe a hallowed tradition: racing down a steep hill in a sled made only of cardboard, duct tape and/or white glue. Age divisions are 6-12, 13-17, 18-plus and family. Register in advance or on site as a team or individual. Rules are listed on the registration form. Smithsonian Spotlight: 'Chenega is Gone'
The Good Friday earthquake of 1964 and the resulting tsunami destroyed the Alaska Native village of Chenega and killed a third of its population. Learn about the disaster in this 1964 documentary created by the San Francisco Red Cross during the events immediately following the quake. Q&A follows with Chenega elders who survived.
