Here's a quick look at a cool competition coming up on Sunday for dogs and dog lovers. The annual Canine Frisbee Championships are a lot of fun for participants with dogs that love to chase flying discs and for spectators who like to watch them.

What: Canine Frisbee Championships
When/where: 1 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at the Delaney Park Strip soccer field (10th & L Street). On-site registration for the frisbee event begans at 11 a.m. and continues until the start of the event (or until registration forms are gone), and competition begins at 1 p.m. Previous experience is not required and is limited to the first 50.
