Guess hockey is here: Fairbanks beats Kenai River in NAHL opener

Hockey is here. At least in the NAHL, where the defending champion Fairbanks Ice Dogs went on the road for the season opener tonight and beat the Kenai River Brown Bears, 3-1, in Soldotna.

Good news if you have Fairbanks forward Jesper Ohrvall on your fantasy team. The Swede scored twice, including the game winner in the third period, when Lonnie Clary added an insurance goal.

Patrick Munson stopped 21 shots for the Ice Dogs.
