Cody Thomas set two school records for UAA while competing in Friday's heptathlon at the University of Washington Invitational indoor track and field meet in Seattle.
Thomas, a junior from New Zealand, set an indoor records in the 60 meters and the high jump. In each instance, he broke his own records.
He ran the 60 meters in 7.01 seconds, dropping .03 of a second from the record he set in February 2014.
In the high jump, he went 6 feet, 8.25 inches to break his previous record of 6-3.25.
