Dimond boys, Eagle River girls win bowling titles

Dimond owned the boys title and Eagle River the girls title Thursday, when the Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League wrapped the season with its position round at Center Bowl.

South finished runner-up in the boys standings and Dimond runner-up in the girls standings.

Bartlett's Ryan Dudley posted the highest boys score with a 247, edging the 244 racked by Dimond's Tyler Wahlberg. Bartlett's Logan Williams rolled a 240 and a 223.

East's Taylor Schoeni rolled a 235 and 225 to lead all girls, West's Gillian Wurts delivered a 213 and 203, and Chugiak's Madeline Richardson rolled a 200.
