Three Dimond pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts Monday night, and Preston Micheletto homered and drove in two runs to spark the Lynx to a 4-3 Cook Inlet Conference baseball win over Chugiak.
Closer Jake Andresen struck out three batters in the final two innings to earn the win for the Lynx (2-0) at Bartlett's field. Stephen Jacobs scored two runs for Dimond.
Sam Hanson and Victor Lekites each furnished Chugiak (1-1) with a hit and a run.
In another game, Eagle River beat West 12-10.
