The Chugiak and Eagle River girls soccer teams battled to a 1-1 draw Tuesday night in a Cook Inlet Conference match in Eagle River.
BOYS
Bartlett 2, South 1
Bartlett posted a historic Cook Inlet Conference boys soccer win Monday night, coming from behind to defeat South 2-1 for the team's first win against the Wolverines.
Abdihakim Zirah provided the dramatic game-winner for Bartlett, heading in a Lorenzo Froehle free kick in the final minute.
Both of Bartlett's goals were the result of Froehle set pieces. After Talon Stanley gave South the early lead, the Golden Bears were able to equalize when Froehle converted a penalty that was awarded after Chase Alexander was fouled in the penalty box while trying to reach Froehle's free kick.
Dimond 2, Service 1
Dimond got a pair of Trask Shamburg goals to remain undefeated in the Cook Inlet Conference with a 2-1 win over Service at Service.
Cole Fox assisted on both goals.
