AACCC Adoption of the Week:Meet Nigel

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of AACCC Public Relations Coordinator Laura Atwood:

Meet Nigel, a dog who needs a committed relationship. Nigel is hoping that three times really is a charm – his previous owners got him off Craigslist and now they have brought him to us. What should you know about Nigel: that he, like just about any husky, has a history of escaping. He can jump a fence and open a gate. But you can work with this: use a cable run, train a great recall, don't leave him out unsupervised. And why would you want to work on this with Nigel? Because his previous owners say that Nigel "loves people and all animals" and that he has lived with a cat and other dogs. Plus, our volunteers describe him as "friendly, curious, and good-natured", and a "sweet, awesome dog". Nigel is worth the effort! If you are ready to commit to Nigel, he can be yours for $72 which includes a microchip, vaccines, and MOA license.
