Wasilla man who cut off ankle monitor charged in Big Lake murder

A Wasilla man has been charged with the murder of Christopher Seaman, 23, who was found dead in his car near Big Lake on June 23. Court records show 30-year-old Joshua Beebe now faces six felony counts related to Seaman's robbery and murder.

Beebe was indicted in a Palmer court on Friday. Before he was taken into custody by U.S. marshals on July 15, Beebe had been wanted for cutting off his ankle monitor 20 minutes after being released from jail on other assault and robbery charges. Beebe is set to appear in court on Monday to be arraigned on the new murder, robbery and assault charges.
