The Dimond tennis team squeaked past South in buzzer-beating fashion Wednesday, winning a tiebreaker in the final match of the meet to claim a 5-4 Cook Inlet Conference victory.
Caroline Requa and Alex Ahn of Dimond clinched the win for the Lynx by beating Maddie Webster and Joseph Kemper of South in mixed doubles 7-6, 0-6, 10-7.
The Lynx won two third-set tiebreakers to hold off South. In girls doubles, Roslyn McCormack and Piper Laudon topped Taylor Matthews and Sophia Sanders 2-6, 6-3, 10-5.
On Tuesday, South beat Chugiak 7-2.
