2 more Aces: Returning D Renwick, newcomer F Perfetto

The Alaska Aces announced two more signings Thursday morning – defenseman Evan Renwick is returning and rookie forward Stephen Perfetto will play his first full pro season with the ECHL club.

Renwick, 25, joined the Aces as a rookie last season after a brief stint in the Netherlands and did well. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder earned 2-9—11 totals and a +18 rating in just 24 games. Technically, he's still an ECHL rookie – he's played fewer than 25 regular-season pro games in qualifying leagues (Dutch league is a non-qualifier).

Perfetto, 24, hooked up with ECHL Tulsa (five assists in 11 games) last season after finishing his college career at Lake Superior State, where he led the Lakers in goals and points (11-8—19 in 38 games), and was an assistant captain.

Perfetto in 151 career games at Lake Superior earned 27-35—62 totals.

The Aces so far have announced 17 players as secured for the upcoming season. The breakdown: eight defensemen, seven forwards, two goaltenders.
