Cali Clark and Brynn Sulte each slammed 10 kills Friday night to fuel Dimond's three-set win over Bartlett in a Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match at Dimond.
Clark added eight digs in the 25-11, 25-12, 25-17 victory. The Lynx got another 20 digs from Jenna Hickel plus 23 assists from Teuila Lolotai.
Barlett got a boost from Violett Togagae's five kills and Loryanna Atafua's five aces.
Chugiak 3, Eagle River 0
A solid team effort carried Chugiak to a 25-15, 25-21, 25-11 sweep of Eagle River in a CIC volleyball match Friday in Chugiak.
Sinjin Acuna sparked the Mustangs' defense with 23 digs and Makenna Girard ran a balanced offensive attack by handing out 15 assists.
Karlie Jones served three aces and had four blocks, Girard added three blocks and Emily Moorhead pounded six kills for the winners.
For Eagle River, Kaylee Barch supplied 23 digs and two aces. Leading the offense were Kara Viotto (7 kills), Paige Ardizzone (6 kills) and Sierra Perry (5 kills).
Earlier in the week, Chugiak beat Service in four sets 25-23, 25-16, 26-28, 25-21. Moorhead's nine kills and five blocks led the Mustangs, who got 45 digs from Acuna and 35 assists from Girard.
Justice Noa powered Service with 15 kills and two aces. Sophie Landeis contributed 25 digs and Ally Jones put up 15 assists.
South 3, Service 0
Ashton Jessee blasted 14 kills and block three attacks Friday in South's three-set CIC volleyball win over host Service.
Emma Kleven and Zoe Keene combined for 32 assists, with Kleven getting 17, to help the Wolverines to the 25-21, 25-21, 25-7 triumph.
Makenna Hurd provided four kills and nine digs and Nikki Taylor came up with nine digs for South.
Justice Noa's eight kills, Sophie Landeis' 15 digs and Ally Jones' 11 assists led Service.
