The first day of the Cook Inlet Conference tennis tournament featured no upsets – all of the seeded players who competed posted victories – but the third-seeded team in girls doubles was extended to a tiebreaker.
Felicity Bidwell and Shannon Croft of West rallied from a first-set loss to beat Erica Williams and Laura Horton, 4-6, 6-0, 11-9 and advance to Friday's quarterfinals.
The three-day tournament wraps up Saturday at the Alaska Club East.
