Troopers suspect drugs were factor in Wasilla shooting

Two men are in stable condition after being shot early Saturday morning in Wasilla.

Alaska State Troopers initially provided very few details, but in an online dispatch the agency said they were notified of the shooting shortly after midnight.

Two men were taken to a hospital and were in stable condition late Saturday morning, troopers said. Troopers believe drugs were a factor in the shooting.

Troopers didn't immediately respond to additional questions on the incident, but the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman reported that the shooting took place at a home on North Charley Drive.

This is a developing story; check back later for updates.
