A car crash Wednesday night at the intersection of Fireweed Lane and A Street disrupted traffic in Midtown Anchorage and sent several people to the hospital with minor injuries, police say.
Two cars crashed and one flipped over around 6 p.m. Two people were stuck in the flipped car but were removed and taken to a hospital, and no one was seriously injured, according to Anchorage Police Department spokeswoman Renee Oistad.
Some lanes were closed on Fireweed Lane and A Street, but tow trucks arrived quickly to clear the scene.
