The win was West Valley's third in three days over a Cook Inlet Conference team.

The game was scoreless until the third period. West Valley took a 1-0 lead on Gabe Rankin's goal less than a minute into the third, and Dimond answered two minutes later with a goal from Blaine Orton.
Lane Wood tallied 17 saves for West Valley and Chris Gardeline had 18 for Dimond.
