Grace Christian enjoyed a pair of victories at Nome's expense Friday at the Grace Christian Classic basketball tournament.
The boys pounded Nome 69-34, and the girls prevailed over the Nanooks 45-32.
In the other girls game, Mt. Edgecumbe tripped Galena 73-50.

Trevor Osborne drained six 3-pointers to help the Grizzlies maul Nome.
Osborne poured in 24 points and teammate Ryan Sheldon added 20 for the host team. Osborne scored nine and Sheldon six in the first quarter as Grace raced to a 20-5 lead.
Ian Booth led Nome with 13 points.
Mt. Edgecumbe girls 73, Galena 50
Payton Weisz drilled five 3-pointers to help Mt. Edgecumbe breeze past Galena.
Tori Thomas led the Braves with 18 points, followed by Weisz with 15. Galena's Courtney Carlo was the game's top scorer with 22.
Grace Christian girls 45, Nome 32
Sarah Laker and Makenna Shamburger scored 14 points apiece to lift Grace Christian over Nome 45-32.
The Grizzlies led by only one point after the first quarter but extended their lead in each of the next three quarters for the win.
Senora Ahmasuk powered Nome with a game-high 19 points in the loss. No other Nanook had more than five points.
