Prep hockey: West, Chugiak post shutouts

West 3, Service 0

West goaltender Isaiah Seville stopped 22 shots in a 3-0 shutout of Service in a Tuesday night Cook Inlet Conference hockey game at Ben Boeke Arena.

Alex Bardsley supplied two assists and Sullivan Mack, Jacob Cummings and Tanner Edwards provided goals for the Eagles. Mack's power-play strike ended a scoreless game early in the second period.

Ronan Klancher made 25 saves for Service.

Chugiak 11, Bartlett 0

Andrew Beckett scored a hat trick and two others scored two goals apiece Tuesday in the Chugiak hockey team's 11-0 shutout of Bartlett at Ben Boeke Arena.

Brady Lindberg and Daniel Casey each scored two goals in the Cook Inlet Conference game.

The Mustangs, who led 2-0 after one period and 5-0 after two, fired 55 shots at Bartlett goaltender Blayze Denton, who stopped 44 of them.

Dimond 5, Eagle River 1

Propelled by two first-period goals from Kyle Doscher, Dimond grabbed a 5-1 CIC win over Eagle River at the McDonald Center on Tuesday.

The Lynx led 3-0 after one period and 4-0 after two. Joshua Linn scored early in the third period to put Eagle River on the board.

Ryan Perius opened the scoring with an unassisted power-play goal for Dimond, which got a goal and three assists from Cody Dearing and a goal and two assists from Tanner Rath.
