Prep basketball: Results from Friday's games

Chugiak girls 47, Bartlett 28

Nicole Pinckney dropped in 13 points Friday to lead a trio of double-figure scorers for Chugiak in a 47-28 Cook Inlet Conference win over visiting Bartlett.

A'yanna Tippins and Randi McMullen each added 10 points for the Mustangs. Kendra Camell topped Bartlett with five points.

East boys 71, Service 55

Marquis White pumped in 22 points and Daon Jones tallied 21 Friday to power East past Service 71-55 in a CIC boys game at Service.

Nathan Fromm gave Service a boost with 20 points.

In the girls game, East beat Service 62-18.

Lumen boys 51, Kodiak ESS 29

One night after losing in overtime, the Lumen Christi boys basketball team bounced back with a defense-driven 51-29 rout of Kodiak ESS Friday night in Anchorage.

Senior Joey Brown led all scorers with 19 points, Jarrett Fortune added 11 and Riley Jones 10 to pace the Archangels, who lost 67-63 to the Kodiak school Thursday.

Cody Robustellini netted 10 points for the visitors.

South girls 49, Grace 48

Isabelle Lada's buzzer-beating basket carried South to a 49-48 win Friday over Grace Christian in a nonconference girls basketball game between Class 4A South and the Class 3A Grizzlies.

Morgan Lash led South with 13 points, followed by Nani Garner with 12 and Isabel Babiak with 11. Lada, who hit a jumper from the corner as time expired at the Grace Christian gym, finished with eight points.

Grace Christian was led by Annie VanderWeide's 13 points and Haley Hagen's 12.
