Caitlin Conwell and Ashley Ramoth combined for 22 points Saturday in a 50-22 nonconference girls basketball win over visiting Eagle River.
Shade Gopie topped Eagle River with 10 points.
Lumen Christi splits with Homer JVs
Freshman Nyadeng Puoy scored a game-high 26 to pace Lumen Christi in a 45-29 girls basketball win over the Homer JV team Saturday in Homer.
Trailing 6-10 after the first quarter, the Archangels pressed Homer into multiple turnovers and held the Mariners to six points in the second quarter to take a two-point lead at the half.
Lumen Christi outscored Homer 27-14 in the second half to seal the win.
Haley Knott chipped in eight points for Homer. In the boys game, the Homer JVs took a lopsided 68-33 win.
Charles Rohr led the Mariners with 22 points, and Jarrett Fortune netted 13 for the Archangels.
