Check out these Alaska April Fools' Day pranks before you post that weird wildlife story

Ah, April Fools. The day people are encouraged to lie and manipulate one another into believing or doing something stupid. So much fun, right? (April Fools! That was sarcasm.)

Alaska has its own April Fools' Day pranks circulating the Internet. Not surprisingly, many of the pranks focus on wildlife. Here are some of the ways you can be fooled this year:

Togiak National Wildlife Refuge says a crocodile was spotted in its Southwest Alaska preserve, complete with a photoshopped croc picture.

The Musk Ox Farm in Palmer says it's going in a bold new direction by changing its focus to musk rats.

University of Alaska Fairbanks' Sunstar magazine says UAA's Seawolf chant will soon be obsolete thanks to the engineering of a seawolf and Chinook salmon.

The Midnight Sun says former Gov. Sean Parnell will run against U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski.

This one's no joke: Juneau is renamed UNO for the day after the Mattel card game (but not before getting a $15,000 donation in dedication of the capitol's late mayor).

Expedition Broker in Haines is offering a special blimp-skiing adventure.

Former president Bill Clinton visited Gulliver's Books in Fairbanks.

Now, here's a GIF of two polar bears fighting with light sabers, because we all deserve it on this day of lies.
