Prep soccer roundup: Linnell registers fourth shutout in win for Service girls

Service girls 3, Wasilla 0

Brianna Linnell tallied her fourth shutout of the season and the Service girls soccer team beat Wasilla 3-0 Tuesday at Service.

Madasin Jennings scored her 11th goal in five matches for the Cougars. Lauren Hepler and Emma Chaussee also supplied goals.

Chaussee, Carolyn Kinzie and Savannah Nichols furnished assists.

Chugiak boys 2, Wasilla 1

Chugiak outpaced Wasilla in the second half Monday for a 2-1 boys soccer victory at Chugiak.

Remo Holtman scored for the Mustangs two minutes into the second half on a rebound off the goalie from a shot by Tanner Chandler.

Chugiak scored again 15 minutes later with Zachary Macalino scoring on a through ball from Max Hartke.

Wasilla scored with 10 minutes remaining but couldn't complete the comeback.

Dimond boys 6, East 0

Dimond shut out East 6-0 in a Cook Inlet Conference boys soccer match Saturday at East to move to 3-0-1 in conference play.

The Lynx received four goals from James Curro and a goal each from James Aguilar and Adam Ripley. Dimond got assists from Elijah McKenzie-Moses, JP Moran, Nathan Dickhaus and Robert Schock.

Dimond goalkeepers Niko Latva-Kiskola and Tanner Dey kept East out of the goal.
