Alaskan wants unfunded Exxon Valdez cleanup paid

The BP Deepwater Horizon catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico isn't the only oil spill continuing to make headlines. In Alaska, Exxon Valdez rears its ugly head once again, with a private citizen and former University of Alaska professor taking Exxon Mobil Corp. to federal court over nearly $100 million in unfunded cleanup efforts that have been required since the 1989 oil spill, and which Exxon has thus far gotten off without paying.
