Companies outline Arctic oil spill techniques to NEB reviewers

According to the Globe and Mail, documents filed by Chevron and Imperial Oil with Canada's National Energy Board (NEB) as part of its "Arctic Offshore Drilling Review" contain further details about how oil companies plan to cope with a large oil spill in northern waters. The filings describe numerous techniques for containment and clean-up in the challenging environment, whose conditions companies tell the NEB could be used to responders' advantage.
