'Weed-ebago' with Alaska plates busted in Oregon

According to KVAL-TV in Eugene, Ore., the Oregon State Police discovered an apparently mobile marijuana greenhouse inside a Winnebago with Alaska plates during an afternoon traffic stop on Sunday.

Police pulled the RV over on Interstate 5 just north of Eugene on suspicion of a traffic violation.

But they found 39 marijuana plants inside, plus assorted growing equipment and small amounts of processed marijuana and hashish.

Police cited the lone occupant of the "Weed-ebago," Benjamin Steffen, 29, of McKinleyville, Calif., for Unlawful Possession, Distribution and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance.
