Video: Alaska Railroad delivers snow for Iditarod start

An Alaska Railroad train arrives in Anchorage to deliver seven rail cars of Fairbanks snow on Thursday morning, March 3, 2016, to enable Iditarod to stage a ceremonial start on Saturday.

Despite the delivery, Iditarod officials announced Wednesday that the ceremonial start would be reduced from its usual 11 miles to just 3 miles.
