Letter: Rodell’s firing was wrong

Gov. Mike Dunleavy should be recalled and the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation board all immediately fired, except the one who voted to keep executive director Angela Rodell.

Along with that, a new set of guidelines for the APFC board and director, following public input, should be defined.

Dunleavy and his appointees on the APFC board just lost more confidence from the Alaska public, if that is possible.

Firing someone who had no known failures, who made a huge profit for our Permanent Fund in 2020, sounds similar to former President Donald Trump firing anyone not providing unconditional cover for his illegal and unethical behavior.
