As reported a month ago, a young lady in Ukraine called her mother in Russia. The young lady explained that bombs were falling, and people were dying. The mother told her daughter that none of that was true, because of what she was being told by the Russian media.
The power of media to shape opinion even in the face of reality is astonishing. Thank goodness for the Anchorage Daily News for not printing or pushing stories that have a political agenda but have nothing to do with the truth.
