News of the apparent Supreme Court decision on upholding abortion bans and of politicians considering banning contraceptives encourages me to get in on the act.
Let’s extend government’s enforcing morality. Jesus warns in Matthew 25:40 that neglecting “the least of his people” sends us to hell. So let’s criminalize neglecting the poor: 10 years in the slammer for regular folks, 25 for millionaires, 50 for billionaires. No more coddling criminals.
I expect lots of support from fellow Christians, especially evangelicals.
