Letters to the Editor

Letter: Already great

There is no need to make America great again. It already is, as was envisioned by our founders in the 1700s.

Yes, there are outspoken voices who have personal, financial and political goals, and there are some glitches in our system — but that is to be expected to assure that every one of our millions of people is heard.

As Jay Hammond used to tell me, “The American system of democratic government is the worst system in the world, except for all the rest.”
