Letter: Guardianship emergency

The governor must declare a state of emergency and activate the Alaska Defense Force to act in a guardianship role that the state Office of Public Advocacy is currently unable to fulfill. To leave these fragile people without formal legal advocates is irresponsible.

Most of these people can not survive on their own, and to abandon them when the governor has both the power and resources to care for them is criminal neglect.
