Letters to the Editor

Letter: Days of infamy

Thanks for Mary Jeanne Danison’s letter reminding us of the events of Dec. 7, 1941.

That’s especially important because of another day of infamy, Jan. 6, 2021, when would-be dictators tried to end our freedom to elect our own leaders and instead make us subjects of a wannabe Vladimir Putin.

If we let them do that, what do we call the 291,557 Americans who sacrificed their lives in World War II for our freedom — suckers?
