I voted for Bill Popp for mayor thinking that I was voting for someone who would stand up for Anchorage and keep the Assembly from continuing to destroy our city. Boy, was I mistaken. Popp has now endorsed Suzanne LaFrance. That means there will be no checks and balances, and the Assembly can continue to take Anchorage down the road to destruction like the rest of the liberal-run cities in our country.
